"L'isola che c'è - Associazione Hospice Pediatrico Padova Aps" takes care of children with pain and incurable problems and their families through the support of the Regional Centre for Pediatric Palliative Care and Pain Therapy. The pediatric hospice is a residential facility where children, in the Veneto Region, suffering from incurable diseases together with their families, are welcomed when they need care, reference, goals and choices. Diseases make the body and the soul fragile: the Association, through a valuable network of doctors, nurses and volunteers, wants to bring hospitality, respect, dignity, understanding and care for pain and anguish, relieving the suffering and improving the quality of life of the families of these little patients.
